Raidou has never owned a snake - that is to say, he has summoned plenty of them, but he has never owned a pet snake. He has a fair amount of knowledge of the workings of cat ownership, enough to know how to groom one and deal with hairballs. He owns a scratching post, even. But snakes, he understands less well.
He only has cause to research snakes after Raja Naga... Sadly, there are few books on the subject of relationships with nagas and he does not want to ask Victor about this particular subject. Snakes will do.
He finds a library book. Snakes, mating thereof:
"Should the approached snake be a receptive female the male will then attempt to mate with her. He will place his head on her back, wind his tail around hers and attempt to join their cloacas together..."
(Raja Naga's chest had been so warm against his back, his sharp teeth scraping against his shoulder as Raidou shuddered with the friction of-)
"...The sexual organs of the male consist of two penises - called hemipenes..."
(He'd been startled at first, but the feeling of being filled so deeply with the naga rubbing his other length against his own had overwhelmed any thought of the strangeness of this position.)
"...The coupling usually lasts for an hour or two, but sometimes it is as little as a few minutes to as long as a two days..."
(He'd come embarrassingly quickly compared to Raja Naga's incredible stamina, and then once more again before the naga was finished with him.)
"...After mating it is normal for the male to stay close by the female for a few days and then to couple again."
He was as red as a beet in the library looking at a book about reptiles. Raidou desperately hoped no one was watching him, because he didn't think he could possibly explain or even speak coherently.
...He wasn't going to fuse Raja Naga any time soon.
