Summary: Dazai, Ango, and Odasaku, musing on the nature of their relationship, and also on the sex.
Notes: What is the tag name for this.

For Dazai, ‘friend’ is a word almost totally unknown to him.  There are only two people he could possibly apply it to in relationship to his own feelings.

Both of them, he’s had in his home.

There’s not much expensive in Dazai’s home to be impressed by, because Dazai can’t please himself with finer things, and the few times he has someone over, they’re usually too busy being held against a wall or holding Dazai against a wall to admire the furniture.

Ango had been the first type - so shy, so in need of coaxing to even convince to come over in the first place.  He’d flustered when Dazai first worked his way down his body with kisses and bites, had made the most adorable keening sound the first time Dazai properly got his hands on him.

Dazai’s surprised a woman hasn’t snatched him up, but he’ll gladly take care of Ango’s needs if no one else will.

Odasaku had been a little more confident.  Gentle, but confident.  He’d taken his time mapping out every inch - literally every inch - of Dazai’s body with his hands and tongue, leaving Dazai impatient in the best of ways.  When Odasaku finally took him in hand, Dazai surprised even himself with the force of his bucking, and forced Odasaku to hold him down - which neither of them complained about.

Dazai knows Odasaku would be a prize for anyone, but Odasaku’s chosen a select few, and Dazai’s pleased to be part of that esteemed group.

For Ango, ‘friend’ is a word with more complexities than he could possibly admit to.  At the heart of the matter, though, there are two people he would love to apply the word to without reservation if only things weren’t the way they are.

Both of them, he’s had in his home.

Ango’s apartment suite is home now, considering how much time he spends in it.  It’s filled with fancy things, because Ango can afford the best of the best, but the few times he’s had a guest, they’ve always been preoccupied with other things.

Dazai often doesn’t make it past the couch.  He’ll rile Ango up and end up with Ango between his legs, with as filthy a mouth as Ango’s heard from anyone.  Every word of praise, every groan and gasp spurs Ango on, moves his lips and tongue just a little bit faster until bitterness fills his mouth.

Dazai is someone he doesn’t know how he became friends with, much less whatever this is, but he has, and he couldn’t extricate himself if he wanted to.

Odasaku has enough patience to last to the bed, and enough patience to work Ango up slowly, and enough patience not to choke himself more than once as he takes more and more of Ango past his lips.  Ango keeps his hips mostly still, though that’s a tortuous task with Odasaku’s wet heat swallowing him up.

Odasaku is someone who deserves better friends than the group he’s fallen into, but Ango selfishly is glad it’s them that he’s chosen.

For Odasaku, ‘friend’ is a word that he uses with great care, and it’s after plenty of thinking about the subject that he chooses to use it in relation to two people who are dearly important to him.

Both of them, he’s had in his home.

Odasaku’s apartment is small, with not much furnishing to speak of besides bookshelves filled with books.  But it has the necessities, and the necessities include a bed, and for their purposes that’s all they need.

Dazai is fond of plenty of positions that have Odasaku inside him, but his favorite may be with Dazai riding on top of him.  He controls the pace, watches the way Odasaku’s eyes go hazy and he bites his lip.as pleasure floods him.  Soon Odasaku shifts, brings his hips up to meet him, draws out moans and curses and the beautiful sound of his name.

Dazai is a difficult person, to be sure, but Odasaku finds being his friend worth all the trouble.

Ango prefers to hide his face, probably out of embarrassment of the faces he makes with Odasaku filling him up and driving him to the brink.  While Odasaku would like to see him, he understands and doesn’t push the subject.  The gasps and curses Ango muffles into his pillow are enough - the way his back arches is enough - everything Odasaku receives, he treasures as much as the heat in his veins.

Ango is surprisingly cute, once you get to know him a little better, and Odasaku prizes their friendship.

And then there’s the three of them, clinking their drinks together in a toast to whatever comes to mind, night after night.  Dazai, Ango, and Odasaku, three men not defined by their place in the Port Mafia, at least not when they’re with each other.

It doesn’t really matter whose home they direct their taxi to, whether it’s Dazai’s or Ango’s or Odasaku’s.  It doesn’t matter whether it’s Ango’s or Dazai’s legs wrapped tightly around Odasaku’s hips, whether it’s Ango’s or Odasaku’s tongue tracing what skin Dazai will willingly show, whether it’s Dazai’s or Odasaku’s nails leaving marks on Ango’s back that he’ll complain about the next morning.

Because the next morning, and every duty they have in the mafia, and every tiresome part of day to day living, is far away.  This night, it’s just the three of them, three people who can say that they like each other and mean it earnestly, with no ulterior motivations.  It’s only three people who are enjoying everything the other two have to offer, whether that’s every carnal activity they can come up with or the time spent afterwards lying in stained sheets, none of them wanting to get up just yet despite the growing feelings of grossness.

None of them have to explain their relationship to anyone else, and none of them want to.  But if they had to, their explanations would start and end like this:

They’re friends.
