The nature of being a Naturalist is that Touson is either completely unscathed or entirely bedridden after he delves. Even so-called “critical” condition loses its sense of weight when he’s seen the other bow users turn out perfectly fine after some rest, time and time again.

There’s no need to wait in the infirmary by his friends’ side for their recovery: there’s no new information he can gather there, and his time has better uses. No one will take offense if he doesn’t stay.
