“Please, Your Imperial Majesty.” Ritsuka clasps their hands together, pleading. “You’re the best single-target Assassin I have. If you could fight just one of the lynchpin maids here…”
“Impertinent fool!” Wu crosses her arms. “Just use a Berserker! No matter what, I refuse to go into battle against a gh-gh-”
“Is there a concern?” Qin Shi asks.
She freezes. To show weakness is difficult enough, but to disappoint the First Emperor… “No, of course not! I was just discussing strategy with our Master.”
“As We thought. You have the situation well in hand, Our successor.” Qin Shi pats her head gently, and while normally she would execute anyone who dared touch her without permission… this isn’t so bad.
