If you asked Kotarou who the most golden Servant at Chaldea was, he’d say Kintoki without hesitation. But if you asked him what made someone golden, he’d be at a loss.

Of course Kintoki is cool. Kotarou was raised on stories of his exploits, and he’s just as impressive in person. Kintoki never gives less than 100%, never shows fear or hesitation.

But there are plenty of heroes here who are strong and brave. Maybe to be golden, you also have to be pure. Kintoki is kind, and innocent in a way that an oni-blooded Fuuma could never manage.

Or perhaps (and Kotarou would never say this out loud) part of being golden is being cute. The way Kintoki turns red each and every time Kotarou kisses him, the way his breath catches when Kotarou pulls off his shades to look him in the eyes - no other Servant is as sweet in quite the same way.

Whatever it means, he’s certain he has the most golden boyfriend in all Chaldea.
