"It's not about the bookmarks, it's - look, Passover is in a couple days and I definitely don't have time to get this whole library free of chametz in time, not to mention trying to convince the other writers not to complain about not having rice for a week and - you have no idea what I'm talking about, do you."

"Nyat a clue," says Cat.

Lovecraft looks up from his vase. "I can… explain…?"

"Lovecraft," says the librarian, "I would sincerely rather eat my own hands than have you explain anything related to Jewish people."
