Notes: I had a lot of trouble deciding on the pairing.
To be fair, Kazuya didn't often get too physically affectionate with Amane in public. She wasn't used to that kind of thing. But once in a while wasn't bad, right?
That was why he didn't think much of sneaking up on Amane and pulling her toward him in a hug. "Hi, Amane," he murmured, nuzzling into her shoulder.
Amane stiffened, and spoke slowly. "Kazuya Minegishi. It has been a long time."
Wait, why was she-
Oh shit.
He let go of her and backed away. "...hi Remiel. I didn't know it was you."
"I suspected you would have acted otherwise." Remiel brushed his hair back into place. "I meant to speak to you about your relationship with her, and this seems to be the time. I have no doubt that you are a goodhearted individual - you are our Messiah, after all. But I would like to impose more strict rules than that if you are to be romantically involved with Amane."
"...I'm listening."
Ten minutes later, Kazuya was seriously wishing that there was somewhere to sit as Remiel went on. "Do not bring her home after ten. There will be no drugs, alcohol, or hard rock music while in her presence. Do not-"
He stopped midsentence, and when next Amane spoke it was with her own presence. "I apologize for that. He tends to be overprotective."
Kazuya sighed in relief. "Back with us, Amane?"
"I never left, but I grew a bit tired with his lecturing." Amane hesitated. "What you did, before, it was... nice. I wouldn't mind if you did it again." She turned a little red and looked away.
He smiled, coming around to face her. "All right. But from now on, only when it's you and not Remiel, okay?"
"I'm certain we would all prefer that."
