On one hand, someone has cut off a bunch of flowers from their roots and arranged them in the hopes that you will find them pleasing and try to delay their inevitable death.
On the other hand, they are your favorite.
You lightly touch the beautiful flowers. Verbena: if you remember your flower meanings correctly, this one is "enchantment and sensibility". It suits you well enough for you to put them in a vase; besides which, they really are lovely, and deserved better than being cut away.
The sender, on the other hand- you have a suspicion, and you'll punish them. But flowers come first.
